You’re sick of the way you look, tired of endless dieting, falling off the wagon, then dieting again.
You try to avoid all the foods you love, which makes you crazy at night so you grab everything in sight! Then you beat yourself up (again), and swear that tomorrow will be better!
There is! It’s called doing it by the numbers. Counting calories. 😮 I know, I know. Counting calories is bad, right?
But what if that’s not true? What if EVERY diet out there is based on calorie restriction? Because guess what? They are. All of them. Keto. Paleo. Whole foods. Atkins. IF. Blood type.
Every.Single.One.Of.Them.
Bypass all the “new” and “improved” ways to get slim for good and go right to the source. Trust me, counting calories (and macros if you want to) is simple. And the concept is neutral — it only becomes “problematic” if you think it is!
Or maybe just craving stuff all the time?
Getting dressed every day is a downer.
What? Me advocate for myself?
It doesn’t have to be this way, NO MATTER how long you’re tried, how many plans and programs you’ve been on, or how many times you’ve beat yourself up.
There IS a way out, and it’s simple!
Imagine being able to eat cookies, steak, cheesecake, and brownies without worry. And actually enjoy experimenting with new ways to prepare your favorite food.
Wonder what it would be like to remove the phrase “trigger foods” from your vocabulary forever, and actually be excited about eating instead of scared you’ll ruin your life?

And I’m your fitness over 50 guide. I’m a certified fitness trainer, lifestyle wellness coach, and kettlebell instructor.
I’ve studied nutrition for over 40 years, and learned a thing or two about diets, exercise, and wellness along the way.
I’ve been where you are and come out the other side, better than ever! I’m in my mid-60s now and still going strong. Yes, the picture to the right is current, taken in 2022 when I was 65.
ANYTHING taken to excess can be harmful. But calories are simply a neutral unit of measure, and knowing the amount of energy needed to function is an easy way to maintain (or lose or gain) weight. Becoming obsessive about it can be counter-productive, but that’s a mindset issue.
Of course you could go overboard eating all your calories in M & Ms and Doritos. I don’t think that would hold up well long-term. Eat delicious foods that are healthy and nutritious 80% of the time and the other 20% can be whatever you like, as long as it fits within your calories
No, not if you don’t want to! Much is written about becoming a fanatical calorie-counter and its perceived dangers. But this is a mindset issue. People keep tabs on their finances all the time and no one thinks this is crazy. Once you get the hang of it, you’re good to go!
You are not alone, and you’re not beyond hope. In fact, I’m here today to tell you that the solution is not only within your reach, but it’s also simpler and more empowering than you might have ever imagined.
